During the past months, we have been working with the Strategic Ministry Planning process. The process involves letting God guide us to identify and carry out God's plan for Good Shepherd. We believe God is calling our Vision Team to accomplish the following:

        Implement small Caring and Sharing groups emphasizing Bible Study and relationship building.

Implement a special event program with community visibility and involvement.

Implement high visibility service projects.

Implement strategies for New Member Integration.

Maintain and improve our Parish Ministry Groups.

In working toward these tactics, we worked on making the Live Nativity last December more visible to the community. We worked on the fellowship aspects of the combined worship celebration service on January 31. We have been working on restructuring the Parish Ministry Group coordination and will continue that through the next months. We are working with other Vision Teams on the Caring and Sharing groups so we don't duplicate efforts.

We ask for your prayer support for all the staff, Vision Teams, and leadership as we move forward to accomplish all God is calling us to do in the months and years ahead. God has exciting plans for Good Shepherd. Come and be a part of all God is doing in and through us!
