Rev. Timothy Gierke, Director of Ministries  

Pastor Timothy Gierke was ordained into the Ministry in the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in 1977.  He is the Senior Pastor and Director of Ministries at Good Shepherd, having served here since November of 1979.  He graduated from Concordia College, Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1969, and from Concordia Senior College, Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1971, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Psychology.  He graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri in 1976, with a Master of Divinity Degree, and a concentration in Pastoral Counseling.  He and his wife, Barbara, who serves as the Director of Music Ministries at Good Shepherd, have a daughter, Kristin Knott, who lives with her husband, Joel, in Omaha, and teaches 4th Grade at Bell Field Elementary School in Fremont; her husband is a computer programmer at Peter Kiewit in Omaha.  they also have a son, Jeremy, who is a senior at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, majoring in psychology and minoring in music.  Jeremy plans to graduate in the spring of 2006.

Rev. Timothy Anderson, Director of Parish Growth

Pastor Timothy Anderson was ordained into Pastoral Ministry in the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in 1980.  He is the Associate Pastor and Director of Parish Growth at Good Shepherd since June of 2002.  He graduated from California Concordia College in 1973 and Concordia Senior College, Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology / Psychology.  He married Cynthia Ahrendt before attending Christ Seminary-Seminex in St. Louis, Missouri where he received his Master of Divinity Degree in 1979 and certification for ordination into pastoral ministry from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and the Colloquy Board in 1980.  He has served congregations in California, Indiana, and Kentucky before coming to Fremont.  Tim and Cindy have a son, Benjamin, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a daughter, Johanna, in Chicago, Illinois and a son, Samuel, in Kansas City.
